English: Hello, sorry it's been a long time. I've been trying to write down this letter for several weeks with all the things I want to say, but it's been difficult. I realized the more I think about it, the harder it gets to put all these words I have in my mind on paper. This is why I'm no longer worrying about it, I will just write whatever is on my mind at the time. This is a recollection of memories from the trip I did last year. I tried to organize my feelings with the impressions I have about some of the moments I lived, which I still remember so vividly. I will be telling these memories by seasons, because I remember feeling very differently in each one of them, and I think that way I can organize my ideas better. I hope I'm able to communicate these experiences to you, and more importantly, I hope this message is able to reach your heart. It's really hard to carry your feelings in a letter. But I will try to put them there for you…

English: Spring welcomes the year with its chilly and windy nights, pouring the plants and trees with its rain, nurturing the flowers and nature, piecing everything together like an oil painting that takes a long time to dry. As Summer approaches, the colors begin to set, and we can see how this painting blossoms with all its details, making a canvas for our most treasured memories, the moments that we wish lasted a bit longer...

Gaby: The sunlight sets It warms my heart The wind blows wide It shines so bright. The sunlight sets Tears run through the sea Waves shaking as feelings inside my heart. (x2) Yui-Chan (Rina Hoshino): (English) Spring welcomes the year with its chilly and windy nights, piecing everything together like an oil painting that takes a long time to dry. the moments that we wish lasted a bit longer... English: Summer holds our memories, all our joy. The moments we share with others, and the beautiful bonds we've created. Like a little warmth that envelopes your heart once a year, It feels so brief, so momentary... swiftly moving on and leaving its place as the wind rushes through the trees, taking all the leaves with it while touching the scenery with its subtle and orange shimmer...

English: …And just like that, the year is almost over. Whenever I reflect on these last few months, I realize how much I wanted to enjoy all the special moments, but I got lost in my thoughts instead of trying to live them. It’s almost like the year lived through me, sending sounds through my soul that for some reason I wasn’t able to hear. And I finally understand why… Memories are just echoes… All this time I’ve been trying to hold on to these echoes, but never appreciated the melodies they were trying to sing… Melodies I never sang, melodies I never treasured… Japanese: ...

English: 1) Yui-Chan (Rina Hoshino): ...And as this year ends I can only ask myself... Melodies I never sang... melodies I never treasured... All this time I’ve been trying to hold on to these echoes, but I never appreciated the melodies they were trying to sing… 2) What melodies will echo through my life this new year? …And which of these melodies will I allow my heart to sing? Melodies I never sang... melodies I never treasured... 3) Gaby: These echoes come From my own heart It's time to sing these Melodies... (x4) 4) Yui-Chan (Rina Hoshino): I can also only ask you, the person reading this letter, to please sing each melody that comes through your life. Before the music fades away… Japanese: 1) Yui-Chan (Rina Hoshino): ... 3) Gaby: These echoes come From my own heart It's time to sing these Melodies...

This is something I've been working on for a little over 3 years. It's a love letter to Iyashikei anime and to all the media and music that have helped me find myself during these last few years.

I'm Incredibly thankful for all the friends who helped me put this together, and for all the people who've been there along the way.

Hope you enjoy it! ~~
